Privacy Policy
Property Priors runs on public records about properties, not on data about you. This page says exactly what we collect from you, what we never do with it, and how to get it deleted.
We collect your email, the addresses you look up, and standard web logs. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it beyond the service providers it takes to run the service. Payments go through Stripe; your card details go to Stripe, not to us. Ask and we delete your records.
What we collect
- Email, and a role if you choose to give one (buyer, owner, agent, lender) when you sign up for early access or place an order.
- Addresses you submit for reads. These are property addresses you are researching, and we keep them tied to your order so we can deliver and support the read.
- Standard web logs. The ordinary technical records any website keeps: pages requested, timestamps, IP address, browser type. Used for keeping the service running and secure.
That is the list. There are no accounts with profiles, no tracking pixels following you around the web.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
- We do not share it beyond service providers. The only parties that touch your data are the providers we use to run the service, such as hosting, our database, and payments, and they handle it only to provide their service to us.
- We never see your card. Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe receives your payment details directly; they do not pass through us and we do not store them.
Retention and deletion
Waitlist and order records are kept while the service operates, so your reads stay available to you and support has context. If you want out, ask: contact us through the channel below and we will delete your records on request.
The public records inside reads
Worth being clear about: the data inside a read is public record about properties, not personal data collected from our users. Recorded sales, deeds, permits, and filings are documents any member of the public can obtain from the county. Owner names appear in paid product surfaces exactly as they appear in county records, because that is what the record says. We report the record; we do not add private information to it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the update is posted here with a new date at the top.
